County will host workshop to discuss short-term fixes to 198

In response to the strong community desire to make MD 198 safer, Montgomery County will be hosting a community meeting for an update and discussion on proposed SHORT-TERM treatments along MD 198.

This upcoming meeting will be sponsored by the East County Citizens Advisory Board Quality of Life/Social Issues (QSLI) Committee, and is being organized by East County Regional Services Director Jewru Bandeh.
Please see as attached the agenda for the ECCAB sponsored Community meeting regarding Potential Short-Term Treatments Along MD 198 Between MD 650 and US 29 (Burtonsville). Representatives from Montgomery County Department of Transportation, State Highway Administration, Police (Traffic Division), East County Regional Services Center and Councilmember Tom Hucker’s Office will be present.
